Address checker

An address checker can help identify malformed or wrong-network Monero addresses before you send. It cannot prove that an address belongs to the intended person or service.

Check an address safely

  1. Open the address checker from Best Wallet or the trusted offline workflow.
  2. Paste the full address without changing characters.
  3. Confirm the network and address type shown by the checker.
  4. Compare the result with the recipient’s trusted payment information.
  5. If the address is invalid or unexpected, stop and request a new address.
