Connect to local node

A local node lets Best Wallet synchronize against Monero infrastructure you operate or control instead of relying on a third-party remote node. Start the node first, enter its local address and port in Best Wallet, then wait for synchronization to catch up.

Use a local Monero node

  1. Run a fully synchronized Monero node on the same computer or trusted local network.
  2. Open Best Wallet’s node or connection settings.
  3. Select a custom node and enter the local host address and the port exposed by your node.
  4. Save the connection and watch the synchronization status for errors.
  5. If the connection fails, confirm the node is running, the port is correct, and the local firewall permits access.
