Freeze/thaw outputs

Freezing an output prevents Best Wallet from selecting it for new transactions; thawing makes it available again. Use this for coin-control or troubleshooting, and remember that freezing does not move, hide, or protect funds from someone who has your seed.

Control output selection

  1. Open the wallet’s outputs or coin-control view.
  2. Review the output amount, receiving address, and confirmation state before changing it.
  3. Choose Freeze for an output you do not want selected.
  4. When it should be spendable again, choose Thaw and confirm the change.
  5. Before sending, review the selected inputs and make sure you did not freeze the balance you intended to use.
