Restore wallet from seed
To restore a Best Wallet wallet from a seed, open the New/Restore wizard, choose Restore wallet from seed, select the correct seed scheme, and enter the words exactly as written. Set the restore height or wallet creation date so Best Wallet knows how far back to scan.
Restore the wallet
- Open File → New/Restore.
- Select Restore wallet from seed, then choose the seed type that matches your backup.
- Enter the seed with one space between words. Check spelling, word order, and every character before continuing.
- If the original wallet used an additional passphrase, open Options and select Extend this with a passphrase. Enter the exact passphrase on the next screen.
- Enter the wallet restore height or its creation date. If you choose a date, use a date before the wallet first received funds.
- Complete the remaining wizard steps, choose a wallet-file name, and set a new local password.
