Sign / verify a message

Message signing proves control of a selected Monero address for a specific message. Verification checks the address, exact message text, and signature together; it does not send funds or publish the message on-chain.

Sign or verify a message

  1. Open Best Wallet’s message signing or verification tool.
  2. To sign, choose the address and enter the exact message without extra spaces or line breaks.
  3. Review the message, sign it, and share the address, message, and signature.
  4. To verify, paste all three values into the verification form.
  5. Treat a failed verification as a mismatch and ask the sender for the original values rather than editing them.
