Switch subaddress account

Monero accounts and subaddresses help organize wallet activity without creating a separate seed for every purpose. Choose the correct account before receiving funds or reviewing balances so your bookkeeping stays accurate.

Change the active account

  1. Open the account selector in the Receive, Send, or wallet overview area.
  2. Choose the account you want to use, or create a new account for a distinct purpose.
  3. Confirm the active account name before generating a receiving address.
  4. Use labelled subaddresses within that account for individual people, services, or invoices.
  5. Review balances and history with the account filter set to the account you intended.
