Turn on Tor
Best Wallet lets you select Tor as the network proxy and choose when Tor routing should apply. Open Settings, go to Network, open Proxy, select Tor, and then choose the privacy level that fits your connection and synchronization needs.
Configure Tor routing
- Open Best Wallet and choose Settings.
- Select Network, then open the Proxy tab.
- For the proxy type, choose Tor.
- Select Never over Tor, Tor after initial synchronization, or Always over Tor.
- Save the setting and check the connection indicator before relying on the new routing mode.
Which Tor mode should you choose?
| Privacy level | When to use it |
|---|---|
| Never over Tor | Use your regular network connection. |
| Tor after initial synchronization | The balanced default: finish the first sync normally, then use Tor. |
| Always over Tor | Choose this when you want maximum Tor routing from the start. |
