Windows

The prepared Best Wallet Windows release can be installed by downloading the installer from /downloads and completing the setup wizard. If you prefer a self-contained app, use the portable release after verification.

Quick Windows install

  1. Go to /downloads and download the uploaded Windows installer from that official page.
  2. Wait for the download to finish, then open the installer.
  3. Review the setup prompts and select Finish when the installer is complete.
  4. Launch Best Wallet from the Start menu and create or restore your wallet carefully.

Portable mode

Portable mode keeps Best Wallet’s data beside the executable, which can be useful for a removable drive or a deliberately chosen folder.

  1. Download the standalone Windows release from /downloads.
  2. Move the executable to the folder or removable drive you intend to use.
  3. Create an empty .portable or .portable.txt file in the same folder, then start Best Wallet.

Advanced: verify with Gpg4win

Install Gpg4win with Kleopatra, then import the Best Wallet release signing key from /downloads. Certify it only after checking the official fingerprint.

  1. Place the signature file in the same folder as the installer or standalone executable.
  2. Open the signature in Kleopatra and confirm that it reports a valid signature from the verified Best Wallet release key.
  3. If the result is anything other than a valid signature from the expected key, cancel the installation and delete the file.
